Support Greg Ferretti and Family
Donation protected
Many of you may have noticed that our giant of a security guard,Greg Ferretti, has been missing from the guard gate for quite some time.
Officer Ferretti acquired Covid in early January and ended up in the ICU at Charleston's VA hospital for several weeks. He is now back home but requires constant oxygen supplementation. Greg gets short of breath with minimal exertion and has, therefore, been unable to return back to work. At the same time Greg was in the ICU, his youngest daughter was severely burned at home and she too had to be transported to Charleston for specialty care which required skin grafting. As you can imagine, times have been very tough for the Ferretti family recently, and they could really use our help!!
Greg is a dedicated security officer who, probably because of his military background, is also a very conscientious worker . Many of you are aware of this side of Greg's personality but may not know that he also has a huge heart! He recently moved his mother from out of state to a nearby facility so that he could personally assist with her needs and manage her healthcare. He has also been working two jobs to support his family and put his oldest daughter through college. The Ferretti family had been planning on visiting this daughter in January but, for obvious reasons, had to cancel the trip. Greg's daughter plays basketball at college and because of practice and games has not been able to visit home since leaving for school in August.
Due to his illness, Greg has been out of work for several months leaving his wife as sole income provider and caretaker. It would be amazing if we could all pitch in and help this family out. He is a part of our Willbrook Community and we would like to show our support and gratitude for his contribution to our neighborhood by starting this fundraiser.
