Support Gregory Chambers Jr.'s Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Alexis Hicks, and I’m organizing this fundraiser to support my friend, Gregory Chambers Sr., and his family during an incredibly difficult time. Recently, Gregory’s son, Gregory Chambers Jr. (affectionately known as Lil’ Greg), was involved in a severe car accident on Friday, November 8, 2024, that tragically claimed the life of his fraternity brother and left Lil’ Greg critically injured. While we are heartbroken by this loss, we are committed to surrounding the Chambers family with love, support, and the resources they need as they face the long road ahead.
Lil’ Greg was airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he is receiving critical care for a C and T spinal cord injury. These types of injuries can result in partial or complete paralysis and may impact vital functions, but we are trusting God to work a miracle. Doctors are working tirelessly to stabilize him; however, his recovery will require extensive medical treatment, rehabilitation, and ongoing support.
As the family copes with this life-changing event, the financial burden of medical expenses and future rehabilitation has already become overwhelming. Gregory Sr. has been by his son’s side every step of the way, and we want to ensure that he has the support he needs without additional financial strain. Any donation you can make will go directly toward Lil’ Greg’s medical expenses and help the family focus on healing and recovery. If you are unable to contribute financially, we ask that you pray for strength, healing, and peace for Lil’ Greg and his family.
Please continue to keep Lil’ Greg, his family, and the Beta Theta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and all those affected in your thoughts and prayers.
In this time of hardship, we find comfort in the words of Isaiah 41:10:
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
