Hi, I am Debbie, Greg’s sister. I am writing this on behalf of my brother Greg. On February 15th, while at work, Greg fell off of a ladder, about 20 feet up, and is now in critical condition. He hit the floor which is solid concrete. He has suffered many injuries and his condition is critical and unknown. The brain is fighting 3 bleeds, many facial fractures and skull fractures, including 8 broken ribs and a collapsed lung. He has other broken bones and injuries. He has been on a ventilator since he arrived to the trauma unit and is not responding. The trauma team and all staff have been taking care of him to the best of their abilities. His wife Wendy, has been with him every waking moment. She has been trying to keep the family updated on his condition. This is were I am worried sick. With a work injury, you only receive about half of your pay, and with Wendy not leaving his side, she is not being paid from her job. He is her life and she can’t think about anything else, waiting and hoping for some sort of response from him. I don’t know if my brother is just being stubborn and waiting for when he is ready to appear, but either way, he is going to have a long road ahead. We haven’t even started to talk about future surgeries, PT and rehab facilities with possible long term care. I would just like to try to take some of the stress off of Wendy worrying about how monthly bills are going to stay current, and keep their home going. I know we all have our own bills and budgets, and God knows, with the rise in the cost of living, we all have felt it. If you can donate, even a few dollars, I would be so grateful. I don’t know any other way to be able to support him and his family. If you can only support him by keeping Greg and his family in your thoughts and prayers, I will be trully grateful. I am just hoping that I can help Wendy keep their family going with monthly bills, expenses, groceries and gas for traveling back and forth. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and from his entire family, The Cunningham’s
