Support Devlynn and Greg
Donation protected
Devlynn and Greg have endured months and months of countless tests, countless hospital visits, and multiple doctors and nurses, each time being told 'not to worry' or being treated by medical professionals like a hypochondriac. No care attention was given to the years of medical trauma and PTSD from her time as a military field medic overseas or as a paramedic. Frustrated that she knew there was something very wrong with her and unable to find treatment or help, she simply had to wait in pain.
Devlynn suffered daily for months as doctors told her there was nothing they could do about her severe chronic abdominal pain until they could do more tests with no sense of urgency placed on resolving the pain.
Soon her condition would replace her once beautiful energy with an exhausted broken shell of her former self struggling to keep going. Her husband Greg, a former police office, stood helplessly by her side in support through the months of heartbreak.
Recently Devlynn was rushed to hospital by ambulance with extreme symptoms. It was there that they finally found that her colon had ruptured, and she required emergency surgery, or she would die. During the surgery they found a mass in her abdomen invading her uterus. In order to save her life, a complete hysterectomy had to be done to remove the cancerous mass.
Devlynn’s surgery was a success, and she has begun her difficult road of recovery and healing which includes chemo and radiation treatments.
This entire ordeal has put a significant financial strain on this couple. Greg has been by her side doing the best he could to support the woman he loves daily for months. Truly beautiful to see and heartbreaking to endure. Neither has been able to work, and now faces extreme treatment costs and other expenses. We would like to support them in their time of need. All donations will go to Devlynn and Greg Cyr.
Keep them in your thoughts and prayers for a fast and full recovery. We all hope that going forward she can live pain free and be able to bring back the joy and happiness that is her and that we all love.
Please cherish those you love each day.
