Hello all, my name is Dominique and my husband is Derek.

We are creating a GoFundMe for my colleague Greg & his family as they have just experienced a devastating time in their life.

Our world is short of good, trustworthy people & this family truly does so much for others. Greg is someone who has dedicated his life to helping others. As a former EMT Paramedic, he has been on the front lines saving lives. Today, he continues that mission by helping save and heal lives through organ, eye, and tissue donation. His wife is equally incredible, working in special education and supporting children who need it most every single day. His wife also dedicates her baking skills to friends and family and can really make your heart feel whole with her baking. She is always baking for our staff as she knows how hard they work.

By the Grace of God, Greg, his wife, their two daughters, and their two beloved dogs are safe, but they are now facing the overwhelming reality of rebuilding their lives from scratch.

On Tuesday, their home was burnt. Thankfully, firefighters came just in the nick of time before it took the whole house.

In a matter of moments, so much was lost. Their home suffered significant damage. The entire kitchen and living space were destroyed, their youngest daughter’s room was completely lost, and their oldest daughter’s room was nearly all gone. They lost countless personal belongings, memories, and the sense of comfort every family deserves. The heat and smoke were so bad it even caused water damage as well in Greg and Allison's bedroom.

Things can always be replaced, but lives cannot. We are so blessed they are alive and safe. We are asking for donations in hopes to help them replace items. Right now, they are unable to live in their home, but we are hoping to help them as their daughters still need to go to school. It will be a while until everything is rebuilt/constructed. We are praying that they can use this money for whatever they may need, like school supplies, clothes, bathroom essentials, etc., for their daughters especially, and in hopes items for when they are able to return home like kitchen supplies, living/dining items.
