Support Greenhill Equestrian Park's Footing Upgrade

Help us improve the footing at Greenhill Equestrian Park in Salem, VA. Park members enjoy this beautiful facility that offers something for everyone from riding their horses cross country, to going on a trail ride, to showing or schooling in one of the three rings. We are looking to improve this treasured facility by improving the footing, starting with the largest ring that is primarily used for jumping. The issue with the current footing is that easily compacts and becomes hard. After doing research, we decided that adding sand on top of what is already down is the best option. This sand will make the footing less compact and would be better for the horses. It will be dragged weekly by the county to help maintain the footing. The added sand will improve the horse show experience, encourage more people to use the ring for schooling, and is greatly needed. Please consider helping us improve this public horse park, the horses will greatly appreciate it.
