Great Bay Charter School (GBCS) is a small school of 160 students currently serving grades three through 12 in Southern New Hampshire. We are excited to be celebrating our 20th Anniversary of providing students with a personalized, interdisciplinary project based learning experience. As a charter school, our funding is different than those of our sister traditional public schools and it is because of this that we are in need of funds to close the gap between our state funding and what is necessary to educate a student. This gap exists because we are unable to access local tax payer dollars as traditional public schools in New Hampshire do. We were started as a community school for students who weren't thriving in their traditional school. Our students choose Great Bay Charter School for a variety of reasons including small class sizes, project based learning, personalized learning, and strong student and trusted adult relationships to name a few.
Your help in bridging the gap in our funding will give our students more opportunity to have learning experiences outside of our building; it will provide much needed supplies for them to exhibit their knowledge through projects; it will help provide learning materials such as novels, science experiment supplies, and much more.
Please help us as we strive to be around for another 20 years for students who need a different educational option. Please visit our website to learn more about who we are and the successes of our students. Great Bay Charter School
