Support Grant's recovery 700km from home!

We here at the Forbes Auto Sports Club are fundraising to support one of our members, Grant Charnock, and his family as he undergoes his recovery and rehabilitation following a horrific accident during the Victorian Dirt Track State Titles held at Broadford, Victoria on Sunday 19th November 2023.

Grant sustained serious injuries during the accident, including L1 to L4 spinal fractures causing pressure on his spinal cord and impeding feeling and lower body movement, 15 fractured ribs and serious bleeding on his lungs. Grant was flown to Royal Melbourne Hospital where he has undergone surgery for his injuries.

Typically based with his partner Sharlee and their children in the Central West of NSW, being in hospital in Melbourne - more than 700km from their home - indefinitely has and will put significant strain on Grant's immediate and extended family. The funds will be used to support his medical needs and assist his family to travel to be with him at key times during his treatment and rehabilitation.
