Support Grant's Olympic Dream Journey

Donation protected
It's been 20 years and our lives are still.... trying to get up that great big hill... at the Olympic Trials.... if you know what that means!!!
If you know me, you know my son Grant. He is a Nationally Ranked Swimmer. This will be his 3rd time at the Olympic Trials. That actually says alot. Not only will he have been there 3 times, but he has been right up there with the best of them!! The first time was in 2016. He was young, at the age of 18 and was just finishing his first year at the University of Arizona. This was after his brother, Vance Sanders, had passed away and still dealing with all his grief, he was trying to achieve his Olympic Dreams.
Then in 2020-2021 there was the Covid Olympic Trials. He was supposed to have the trials in 2020, but they were delayed with Covid-19 issues until 2021. Grant was swimming for the University of Florida in his senior year in 2020. His NCAA Championships were cancelled. He was supposed to ride in from the NCAA's, to the Olympic Trials, then everything came to a complete halt. They took his final year of college and delayed the 2020 Olympic Trials for an entire year. His training was compromised and consequently in Olympic Trials 2021, he swam along side of Ryan Lochte in the 200 IM. The picture you see is of Grant when he had a USA Flag during the Semi finals. He came in 4th in that heat, making him 12th overall in the Nation! But, you have to be top two to go to the Olympics.
So here we are, 2024, Grant is now following his mentor and Coach, Gregg Troy, over to the FAST Falcons in Ocala, Florida. Working along side Head Coach Allison Beebe to bring him to the Olympic Trials here in Indianapolis, Indiana. Grant says he is in the best shape he has ever been in. The FAST Falcons have been so supportive in providing the airfare and meals for Grant and we are so GRATEFULL FOR ALL THEIR SUPPORT !! We have been planning for a very long time for this. However, we have had a shortfall with our expenses and Grant has been working so hard in the pool. We are looking at the hotel, car rental and food and such that has suddenly become amazingly hard to provide. Grant has had a cut in hours as a coach due to his training schedule for the Olympic Trials and we, as his parents are having a multitude of expenses building up. Our credit cards are maxxed!! If there is any way you can help us get through to the other side... we would be forever grateful!!!
GO GRANT!!!!!
