Support Grant and Meredith after Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
Our dear friends Grant Hayden and Meredith Adams lost most of their personal belongings due to Hurricane Helene and the flood waters that washed through their 1st floor Asheville apartment home just a few weeks after moving back to Asheville (Grant’s hometown) from Baton Rouge. Thankfully, they are both safe and healthy.
For those who are able, please consider donating to help our friends get back on their feet.
Many in the community lost everything including their homes or worse. If you would like to give back to the greater community, I’ve listed a few options below recommended by Grant and Meredith. There are a lot of ways to give out there, and I highly encourage contributing where you can.
- Asheville Buncombe County Christian Ministry - "one of the key non-profit organizations addressing poverty, hunger, homelessness and access to health care for the under-served in Buncombe County"
- Brother Wolf - Local animal shelter in Asheville heavily impacted by flooding
- Eblen Charities - "Community based charity that focuses on assisting families and individuals during times of crisis and hardship, whether medical, financial or emergency need."

My name is Will De Santis and I'm from Raleigh, NC. Grant and Meredith are close friends of mine. I met Grant in college, became close friends living together after college, and he was in my wedding. I met Meredith shortly after she met Grant while they were living in Baton Rouge. I love ‘em both. Funds will be spent to recoup lost personal items including but not limited to kitchenware, appliances, furniture, electronics, and clothing. Once essentials have been recouped, Grant and Meredith intend to send excess funds (if applicable) to one or more of the charities listed above. Payment from this fund will be issued directly to Grant.
