Help My Grandpa Begin His Dialysis Journey ❤️
A few years ago, my grandpa lost his Medicare insurance, and ever since, he’s had to rely on local clinics to manage his health. Sadly, his condition began to decline, and recently doctors diagnosed him with stage 5 kidney failure. They told us that without dialysis, his days would be limited.
My cousins, uncles, dad, and I have all been trying to convince him to start treatment, but he’s a very proud and humble man. He didn’t want to “be a burden” or have us send money for his care. We kept praying for him to change his mind and hold onto hope.
A few days ago, we found out he had been hospitalized since Saturday. I went to see him today (Tuesday, November 4) and spoke from the heart. I told him we’d find a way to raise the money — that we just wanted him to fight and give himself a chance to feel better.
By the grace of God, he accepted the hospital’s dialysis, and after his first treatment, he said he felt better for the first time in a long while.
Now, we’re asking for help and prayers as we try to raise funds to continue his dialysis and medical care. Anything you can give — no matter how small — will go directly toward his treatment, medication, and transportation to appointments.
Every donation and prayer helps give my grandpa a chance to keep fighting and enjoy more time with his family who loves him dearly. ❤️
Thank you all for your kindness, prayers, and support.
