Help Rebuild My Grandpa’s & Aunt’s Roofs After Hurricane Melissa
When Hurricane Melissa, a devastating Category 5 storm, tore through Jamaica, it left unimaginable destruction in its wake. Among the many affected were my grandfather, age 83, and my aunt, whose homes were both severely damaged, leaving both uninhabitable.
My 83-year-old grandfather, already fighting for his health after major surgery just a week before the hurricane, and my aunt both lost the roofs of their homes entirely. The storm ripped everything open: walls cracked, belongings ruined and washed away, and years of family memories destroyed in the wind and rain.
Both are now displaced, with my grandfather medically fragile and my aunt struggling to salvage what remains. We are raising US $30,000 to:
✅ Replace both roofs
✅ Repair destroyed walls
✅ Restore structural safety
My grandfather, a quiet and hardworking man, and my aunt, a generous soul who’s always helped others, now need our help to regain secure, livable homes.
Your donation - of any size - will help rebuild not just their roofs, but their peace of mind. If you can’t donate, please share this campaign.
Thank you for your compassion and support.
