Grandma Margaret (Red Spider Woman) Needs a reliable Vehicle

We’ve created this GoFundme for Grandma Margaret, she is a Cheyenne Arapaho elder living in Oklahoma and needs a reliable vehicle to be able to continue her work among her people. She is the eldest living Grandmother of the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers.

She is also an artist, and a licensed alcohol and drug abuse counselor who helps many. She also has a degree in Creative writing.

Grandma Margaret is a women of prayer and ceremony. She is a tribal elder and leader - teaching tribal youth both language and ceremony.

Her current vehicle needs repairs that are so expensive that it does not make sense to repair it.

Her calendar is always very full, and she needs a car to get to fulfill her commitments.

Grandma continues to live a healthy and independent life, taking care of herself - eating a healthy diet, and getting exercise - she loves water aerobics and traditional dance. She has to drive to participate in these activities, to attend her Dr’s appointments, her teaching, and other commitments. Her home is on the reservation, far from town and there is no public transportation.
