My album, 'Grander Things,' was written between 2016 and 2019, during a time of deep reflection and growth in my life. After having the album produced, I held onto these songs, waiting for the right moment to share them. Recently, through prayer and confirmation from the Lord, I know that now is the time to release this music. These songs are born from my own testimony and the stories of people around me who have faced incredibly hard situations. For example, 'Why Don't We Pray' was written about someone who struggled with thoughts of suicide and reached out to me for prayer. It's a song about the Lord being our defender and protecting us from the lies of the enemy.

The title track, 'Grander Things,' is my testimony about God giving me dreams and passions, even when it felt like everything was falling apart. The chorus says, "My future, it's in your hands. These dreams crumbling like sand. Through the fingers like pouring rain. Still you're holding every part of me." This song is about realizing that we are just a small part in the grander scheme of things—each of us a piece of God's design.

Each track on this album is a step along a journey—through my life and the lives of others—navigating different seasons and circumstances, all while learning to trust the Lord more deeply. I've spent years praying over these songs, wrestling with fear and uncertainty, but God has shown me that He is in control. My hope is that as people listen, chains will be broken and they will experience the freedom God has for them.
