Support Grand Isle bus driver after devastating fire

Friday May 16th, our neighbor and Grand Isle School bus driver, lost their home in a tragic fire driven by strong winds. The fire destroyed everything—their home, their belongings, and most heartbreakingly, their beloved cats. Thankfully Sebastian was able to make it out safely, and all of the dogs were saved. Melodie, Xavier and Jennifer thankfully were not home at the time.

Sebastian had only moments to escape (no shirt, no shoes, no cell phone). The trauma of watching their home and cherished cats vanish in flames is unimaginable. They are safe, but the loss is overwhelming and life-altering.

They are now starting from zero—without clean clothes, essential items, or a place to live. The immediate needs are urgent and vast. This fundraiser will help cover new clothing, basic items, temporary housing and rebuilding their life.
