Sometimes in life, we slip and fall. And when we do, it helps to have people there to pick us back up. ❤️

Our sweet Wonton is still finding her sea legs here in Maine, and unfortunately, she injured her leg. We brought her to our veterinarian to have it checked out.

X-rays gave us the answer: Wonton has a fracture.

The good news is that we're hopeful this little girl can heal without surgery. She's now sporting a splint and has been prescribed approximately 30 days of very limited activity. She'll need weekly splint changes and another round of X-rays to make sure everything is healing as it should.

We've already spent close to $600 on Wonton's unexpected veterinary care, and we're expecting her care to reach approximately $1,000 or more as we get her back on all four paws.
