Support Graham Brawley’s Fight Against Leukemia

Dear Family and Friends,
I am writing on behalf of my brother Graham, seeking your support to help him raise $15,000 to pay for his mounting medical bills and living expenses due to his ongoing battle with the rare form of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).
Graham is moving into the next phase of his difficult journey to build a new immune system through a bone marrow transplant. He is currently up at Dana Farber for the next month where he will undergo chemotherapy, then receive a bone marrow transplant and doctors will monitor his reaction to graft vs host. He must be secluded while he begins to build his new immune system.
Since January, Marina has been Graham’s sole caregiver. This has been her full-time job, and she has taken this responsibility on magnificently ensuring that my brother gets the best care while entering the immuno-therapy trial at Dana Farber to “kill” the leukemia cancer cells. This trial was the only option left for him because his leukemia was the rarest of the rare. He is fortunate that he can say he is cancer free for the moment, but the insidious nature of the type of leukemia he has been diagnosed with makes relapse without a bone marrow transplant almost certain.
Additionally, his doctors are telling him it will take about 6 to 9 months to rebuild his new immune system. The first 6 months Graham will need to stay secluded from any crowds. At 6 months, Graham will be given all the vaccines that he has received throughout his life, like MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, polio, etc., since his new immune system won't have any protection against these common diseases. The doctors will then decide if he is ready to re-integrate into society or continue to wait. It is still a long road ahead for him. Marina will continue to be his caregiver during this period.
Any contributions will help both Graham and Marina alleviate some of the stress and burden, so that they can stay 100% focused on Graham’s next phase of treatment and getting back to living life wholeheartedly with his goofy sense of humor and wonderful take on life!
Thank you for your help and support. It is a wonderful feeling to be surrounded by so much love and support that you all have given us during this time!!!
Much love,
