Hi, I'm Megan, Graham's favorite cousin :) I'm setting up this account for him and his wife, Rebecca. I have a more detailed outline below, but for those short on time, this family needs a lot of help. Graham was diagnosed with cystic glioblastoma, which is a very aggressive form of brain cancer. He's undergone brain surgery, followed by weeks of chemo and radiation, all leading up to a "good but bad" MRI result yesterday. This family has already been through so much, and with a very uncertain plan/outcome, the stress is only increasing. I've set this up to hopefully alleviate at least some of the financial burden for them. The medical bills alone are outrageous, as I'm sure you can imagine, especially since it’s the new year (new deductibles/co-pays/out of pocket maximums). Their HSA funds are already gone, as well. Adding more chemo, meds, supplies, gas, etc., I know they would deeply appreciate any help we can give.
At the very beginning of October 2025, Graham left one morning to go to work. Rebecca, sensing that Graham wasn't quite himself, checked his location on Life360, and found Graham at the opposite end of town, not knowing how he got there. Rebecca took Graham to the ER near their home, and after a head CT, they discovered a mass in Graham's brain. He was transferred to Methodist that day. After more testing, Graham was diagnosed with cystic glioblastoma. They quickly devised a plan of attack, and on October 8th, Graham underwent brain surgery. Once discharged from the hospital, they temporarily moved in with Rebecca's parents to ensure there were plenty of helping hands. Following that 4 week recovery period, they returned home, where a laundry list of instructions and supplies for the next leg of the journey awaited them. I believe his chemo started November 20th, and daily radiation a couple days after that. This was more than a full-time job. Following the first 5 weeks of chemo/radiation, Graham had a repeat MRI to check for progress. Yesterday, January 30th, was when they received the "good but bad" results. I don't know all the details yet, but there was some concern within the images. His doctor mentioned that he would speak with the neurosurgeon, get a plan in order, and discuss it with them next week. He did mention the possibility of a second brain surgery. I do know that Graham is completing more chemo at this time. I will update once I have more information.
100% of the donations go to this sweet family. Anyone who knows Graham knows that he is one of the most gentle and kind individuals they've ever met. I know without a doubt that they'll be thankful for your donations. Let's shower them with love and support!
Thank you and God Bless,
Megan
