Support Grafton Jr's Dream of Acting at MCT

Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to click on this. My name is Cheyenne, and I am the eldest sister to 6. My younger brother Grafton (Jr), 15, has been invited to go to MCT (Missoula Children’s Theatre) this coming July to perform in an acting class. Jr is a selfless kid who does anything and everything for others. This is a 2-week overnight camp where campers will learn tactics to become better actors/play coaches, form friendships, and become better all around. I am writing this in hopes to get any sort of help to assist in getting him there. Unfortunately, they have already issued all of the scholarships out this year, and we only just got the acceptance letter today. It is going to be about $2500 to send him there, so anything helps! We have a deadline of June 1st for the non-refundable portion, which is $600, and then the rest is due in the middle of June. The tuition is right around $1500 and then it will cost around another $1000 give or take for flights, housing and food. He has not had the greatest life and opportunities, as growing up, his father has been a drug user, and our mom was in prison for a short period. All while that, Jr has not changed his happy and positive attitude towards life and others. He does not know he was accepted, as I wasn’t sure if it was possible for us to send him there, so if we make the amount we need, we will be telling him, and it will be a total surprise. His reaction to getting nominated was basically, “OMG, I am so happy! I wish I could go, but I know it’s a lot, so if it doesn’t work out, I understand.” He was even okay knowing we probably wouldn’t be able to make it happen.
