Hey Everyone!
We are back and ready to start fundraising for the Class of 2026! Last year we raised $14,700, splitting the money evenly among 7 very deserving graduating seniors. Our recipients had many touching stories and ambitions - among them we had an aspiring aerospace engineer, an architect specializing in urban design, mechanical engineer, a doctor specializing in neurodegenerative diseases, a first generation American, so many more.
For a refresher - The BWAAS started back in 1999 at the class of 1974's 25th DHS reunion where my mom and her classmates decided to support graduating seniors who are in need of financial aid. We are now continuing this wonderful tradition and expanding this charity to all alumni of Darien High School!
