On May 30, Grace was hospitalized after developing Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) during her recovery from COVID-19. Following extensive testing, doctors determined that her nervous system experienced a disruption in function, resulting in symptoms including extreme tremors, weakness, balance difficulties, and vision disturbances. The good news is that FND is treatable, but recovery requires a comprehensive approach involving multiple therapies, rehabilitation, and significant time and effort. Grace will be unable to work or attend school while focusing on her recovery.

This fundraiser will help provide access to rehabilitation, specialized therapies, and other recovery resources that may not be fully covered by insurance. Our goal is to ensure that financial considerations do not limit the treatments and interventions that could support Grace's progress. Grace is approaching this challenge with determination and commitment, and we are grateful for any support that helps her focus entirely on healing and rebuilding her health.
