Hi everyone,

My dear friend Grace was involved in a scooter accident while on a graduation celebration trip to Bermuda. She has been admitted for emergency surgery on her bowel and will need to stay in the hospital for several days before she can be cleared to come home to Maine. Grace has been a student at Life University for the past four years studying chiropractic and graduated just two weeks ago. This is an incredible achievement, but with her graduation, she has also lost her health insurance coverage.

Without insurance coverage, these costs will be insurmountable. This is why, on behalf of her family and friends and all who love her, I am asking for your help to relieve some of this burden.

If you know Grace, you know how special a human she is. If you haven't had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Grace Pickering, let me tell you a bit about her.

Being around Grace is like sitting in the sunshine. She radiates warmth, kindness, joy, and comfort. She is quick to laugh, quick to dance, quick to jump into any adventure. She cares deeply for others and the world. This can be seen most plainly in the career she has dedicated her life to: chiropractic, where she will be helping her community become the healthiest, happiest version of themselves through her touch and care. She is a yogi, an avid skier, a hiker, and just simply one of the best of us.

Grace has poured so much into the world so that she can care for us, and in turn, I am asking each of you to pour back into her in this moment of need. These funds will go to her medical expenses so she can recover without stress and get back to starting her career as Dr. Grace Pickering.
