Support Grace’s Recovery After Collision
Donation protected
Grace has dedicated her life to caring for others in the Hollister community. Since 1993, she has worked for the San Benito Healthcare District, starting at the old Southside Nursing Home, then Northside Nursing Home, and eventually at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital. For many years, Grace has been a full-time nursing assistant, always putting her patients and colleagues first. Outside of work, she has volunteered with the Boy Scouts and supported the Community Food Pantry, always finding ways to give back to those in need.
Recently, Grace’s life changed in an instant. After finishing her shift at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital, she was involved in a devastating head-on collision on her way home. The accident left her with multiple serious injuries, including broken ribs, a shattered knee, a broken right leg, and a fractured pelvis. Emergency crews had to extricate her from her vehicle, and she was airlifted to Valley Medical Center, where she was placed in a medically induced coma and underwent an extensive surgery within 24 hours.
Grace now faces a long and difficult road to recovery. Her family is preparing for months of ongoing medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and the loss of Grace’s income while she heals. We are coming together to support Grace and her loved ones during this challenging time, hoping to ease their financial burden so they can focus on her recovery. Any contribution will make a meaningful difference for Grace and her family as they navigate the months ahead.
