Hello! My name is Grace Najera. I currently attend Northwestern College in Orange City, IA. I am majoring in elementary education with the hopes of becoming an elementary school teacher. In addition, I have an endorsement in coaching soccer, in hopes of one day coaching my own soccer team! The reason I am telling you this is because Northwestern offers an incredible opportunity for students to go out into the world and make a difference. We do this by spreading the amazing gospel of Jesus Christ with as many people as we can. I have an opportunity to participate in one of these trips with my soccer team. This year we are heading to Spain for Spring Break! During this trip we will be spreading the gospel to many locals, experience church culture traditions and help out several different schools. We also get to work with the local pro soccer team and have an opportunity to run our own soccer camp for the kids in the area as well. By going on this trip, I will gain so much experience with working with young adults, learning a different culture and gain other real-life experiences as well. I have a true passion for teaching young adults on and off the soccer field. With that said I need your help! As a full time student my schedule is filled with study time, training for the upcoming soccer season and volunteering my time at the college church. I also work part time to help raise the money I need for this trip. I have a personal goal of raising $2000 to help cover the cost. If you want to help me that would be greatly appreciated.
