Hi everyone, my name is Grace! I have autism and I never graduated high school, so I became homeless as an adult. I recently got out of homelessness; I was homeless all of 2023 to January 2025. During the couple of years that I was homeless, I was unable to go to the dentist or doctor. I didn’t have a shower or bathroom, so I wasn’t able to take care of my health and hygiene normally, which ended up giving me a dead wisdom tooth. I have been dealing with a toothache for the past couple of years, but my wisdom tooth is finally rotting and falling out in pieces. I am still recovering from homelessness, and this is the first time I have ever had to pay rent and bills, so I am struggling to afford that.

So, I haven’t been able to think about putting my health first, but I am in so much discomfort that I decided to start this fundraiser. I am realizing that my health needs to be my priority, but I do not have any dental or health insurance, so I’ve been putting a dentist appointment to the side until I can afford to go. But sadly, I will not be able to afford to go to the dentist anytime soon, so if you’re able to donate towards my fundraiser, I appreciate you so much, and I will show receipts after I get my tooth pulled if that would make people more comfortable.
