Help Grace Fight Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer – Support Our Family

My name is Daniel Han and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my wife, Grace, and our family.

Nine years ago, Grace was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer in her left breast. She bravely fought through seven long years of treatment and was eventually declared cancer-free. We thought the battle was over.

But on May 15th, our world was shaken again. Grace was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. The cancer has now spread beyond the breast and lymph nodes to her lungs and bones. We are facing a long, painful, and uncertain road ahead filled with intensive treatments and countless medical appointments.

The physical and emotional toll on Grace has been overwhelming. She experiences severe bone pain and frequent bouts of nausea daily. On top of the physical suffering, she is also battling extreme anxiety and emotional distress over having to fight cancer a second time.

We have two wonderful children—our son in 10th grade and our daughter in 8th grade. As parents, it breaks our hearts to know that this situation may impact their education and well-being. With no other family here in the U.S., the responsibility of caring for Grace and supporting our children falls solely on me.

To be by Grace’s side and care for our children, I’ve had to step away from my coaching job, and as a result, our household income has significantly decreased. Despite the financial strain, I will do whatever it takes to keep Grace emotionally strong and our family together during this unimaginable time.
