Graceland Missionary Church-the first African church in Pittsburgh-spent 15 years worshiping in borrowed spaces before finally securing our permanent home.
Today, this building urgently needs repairs due to basement sewage overflow, harsh weather, water damage, and aging systems.
Why This Matters
Our church serves:
• African immigrant families seeking stability and community
• The broader Black community in Mount Oliver and surrounding neighborhoods Graceland is a bridge between cultures, a sanctuary for families, and a safe place for youth, elders, and newcomers.
Your Support Helps Us:
• Repair the roof and stop water damage
• Restore interior walls and community spaces
• Upgrade heating and electrical systems
• Keep our doors open for worship and community programs.
