Our sweet little lady, Grace Jane, is scheduled to have surgery for a form of Spina Bifida as well as Tethered Cord Syndrome. The surgery will be long and intensive and will require a two-week stay in the hospital to protect against infection, recover, and begin physical therapy. During her hospital stay, her loving Mama and Dada will need to take time off work to be by Gracie's side. As hard-working parents, much of this time will be unpaid, and there will be extra costs for gas, tolls, food, and insurance.

We know our joyful Gracie is in excellent and capable hands and that the surgery will ultimately help prevent further issues that Spina Bifida and Tethered Cord Syndrome can bring. We also know this will be a trying time physically, emotionally, and financially. As her Mimi, it's my hope that we can provide Grace, her Mama, and Dada, with a little extra support and help to get them through this worrisome time.
