Support Grace in her Motorsport engineering studies abroad

My name is Grace Taloni, I am 17 years old and I currently live in Spain although I am italian.

As a young girl, I often spent time building hand-crafted cars from old cardboard boxes, immersing myself in a world where I imagined fixing steering wheels and adjusting tires. But it all started back when I watched my first Formula 1 race with my father. I was captivated by the speed and precision of the sport, as well as the complex mechanism behind each car. Those late nights or early mornings ignited a passion that has evolved into a lifelong ambition of becoming a Formula 1 performance engineer.

At the age of four, my family relocated from Italy to Canada, and seven years later, from Canada to Spain. Integrating into new cultures, I became fluent in English, French and Spanish, competencies that have greatly enriched my education and will undoubtedly benefit my future career.

Throughout my academic journey, I have demonstrated merit in mathematics, engineering, and physics, enhancing my analytical and problem-solving abilities. I will admit that I am my toughest critic, although my parents often encourage me to be less hard on myself. But I believe that achieving great things requires hard work and persistence. This mindset motivates me to embrace obstacles and pursue my goals with enthusiasm. I understand that the path to becoming a Formula 1 engineer will not be easy, but I am fully prepared to put in the effort required to succeed.

Ultimately, I am thrilled to have already received a conditional offer to study at Oxford Brookes University in London. But as an international student, my tuition fees are significantly higher, making financial support essential in pursuing this opportunity.That’s why I’m asking for your help.The overall fee for my three year program (without covering accommodation) is €60,000. I understand that this is much to ask, so with this GoFundMe, I hope to raise €20,000 to cover my first year of fees.

Oxford Brookes stands out to me as the ideal place to realize my goals. The renowned motorsport engineering program, with its emphasis on both theoretical knowledge and hands-on application, perfectly aligns with my aspirations.
