Help Us Volunteer in Nepal: A Sibling Mission to Serve Sick Children
Hi everyone!
My name is Grace, and my brother Gavin and I are raising money to volunteer in Nepal, where we’ll be working hands-on with sick children and communities in need.
Our hope is to raise $15,000 total to cover both of our travel expenses, housing, and supplies while we serve in Chitwan, Nepal—a peaceful, rural area where many families live without consistent access to healthcare, education, or basic resources.
Why Chitwan?
Chitwan is a small, beautiful region in southern Nepal, surrounded by rice fields, quiet villages, and incredible nature. But beyond the scenery, the need is very real. In areas like Sauraha, Ratnanagar, and Meghauli, children often go without medical care, and clinics are extremely limited. That’s where we come in.
We’ll be:
• Assisting in rural health posts and clinics
• Supporting orphanages and day centers for children with medical or developmental needs
• Helping teach basic hygiene and health education
• Distributing donated supplies like first aid kits, soap, and toothbrushes
• Living within the community to build trust and one-on-one relationships
We chose Nepal because we wanted to go somewhere genuinely in need, where our time and energy could create real human impact. Chitwan is not crowded with tourists or big non-governmental organizations —this is about working directly with local people who welcome volunteers like family.
Why We Need Your Help:
• Roundtrip flights each: $4,000-5,000
• Housing, food, and transportation during the trip: $2,000
• Supplies and program donations: $1,000+
This journey is not a vacation. It’s a mission from the heart—for us to grow, give back, and make a difference together as siblings.
This experience will deepen our passion for medicine and give us real-world exposure that we’ll carry into college, med school, and future healthcare careers.
Any amount—big or small—brings us one step closer to Nepal. If you can’t donate, just sharing this means the world to us too.
Thank you so much for believing in kindness, connection, and purpose. We can’t wait to make you proud.
With love and gratitude,
Grace & Gavin
