Grace City Opera Theatre is a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization established to Preserve, Promote, Educate and Perform the Master works of African American and African Descent Classical Composers. Further to keep those Master works in the mainstream of classical music and to bring the rich history of classical music and its origins in African Culture to the world. Grace City Opera Theatre is committed to making Opera accessible to all people without barriers.
Opera is more than music, it is history, storytelling, education, and cultural legacy. At Grace City Opera Theatre, we are committed to ensuring that Opera is accessible, inclusive and reflective of the full spectrum of the Human experience.
We are raising funds to support our productions, educational initiatives and community outreach programs that uplift voices too often unheard and bring classical music to diverse audiences of all ages.
