Our dear friend Gordon Goodwin has suffered a major stroke while at the same time, fighting Stage 3 Pancreatic Cancer. The burden of the extensive medical care has quickly become overwhelming and has placed a tremendous strain on his family, both financially and emotionally. We all know Gordon is an internationally respected and Grammy-winning composer, arranger and bandleader, perhaps best known for his work with the acclaimed Big Phat Band. Gordon is responsible for launching the careers of hundreds of musicians and his music continues to inspire people around the world.
