For over a year, my brother-in-law Gordon Byrn has undergone numerous medical examinations and tests in an attempt to get answers for his declining health. He is in continuous discomfort and has lost over 70lbs. Now he’s received the worst diagnosis possible - Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. The news has devastated us.

Gordon is the sole-provider for his family and can no longer work as he undergoes treatment in an attempt to fight this aggressive cancer and save his life. His wife Terry has limited mobility and is unable to work as well, which leaves them without an income. The family has incurred significant costs to provide essential care not covered by insurance. The cost is thousands of dollars out of pocket each month. Soon they will be overwhelmed and their finances drained. They are facing a very grim future and a burden that no family should ever have to face alone.

For those who know Gordon, you know he is generous, hardworking and playful. He’s the first one to show up when someone is in need. He is an avid fossil collector, a comedian, the family photographer and a computer geek. He's also an animal lover, who has selflessly opened his home to multiple rescue dogs over the years, just so they could have a chance at life. He is a dedicated husband and a loyal friend who is now facing the most difficult battle of his life.

Gordon would never ask for help on his own. He’s too proud. So, I'm humbly asking for your assistance in easing their burden thru this difficult time. All funds raised will go directly to the Byrn family to:

- Help with daily living costs since Gordon can no longer work.
