Support Gordie's Battle Against Tongue Cancer

In Sept & Oct., Gordie went through 4 rounds of Chemotherapy treatment. Thanks in combination to your kind donations and our personal savings, we were able to fully afford his treatment and he responded very well to it. He was able to re-gain his full quality of life and boy oh boy did we live like there was no tomorrow during this time. Everyone (Our Oncologist, our Vet, and our family) felt we had won this battle and were entering a state of remission. However, on Nov. 25th, we noticed the spot on his tongue was darkening. This was extremely concerning. On Nov. 27th, the tongue began to revert back to an open wound and day after day, the tumor re-grew into a hellish cancerous state, again. Our Thanksgiving had been ruined and on Dec. 3rd, the Oncologist confirmed the cancer had clearly and aggressively come back; aggressive meaning within weeks to months. Saying we were all defeated, upset and in pain would be an understatement of our psychological and emotional state.

We now started what is going to be Gordie's 2nd and final cancer treatment plan option. It's an absolute do or die situation now. This will be our ultimate battle in what has now turned into a war. We're asking for you to join us in supporting Gordie in the final fight for his life to eradicate his cancer. If you are financially able and willing, anything helps and your kind donation will be praised and appreciated.

Gordie has been fighting for his life. He was diagnosed with tongue cancer on Aug. 24th, 2024. He's only 5 years old... It's simple: Mikey, Jamie and Gordie have created this GoFundMe page for those graciously able and willing to assist the 3 of us around this largely difficult journey.

Gordie currently needs 24/7 care and a lot of the time, it takes both of us to do it. This fund is not for you to pay our way or our dog's medical bills. This is a fund for us to find some assistance against the growing financial strain that we are currently enduring.

Gordie has already fought through a few tough moments so far. As long as he continues to show us that he's a fighter, we've promised him that we will give him the support for a fighting chance.
