Support Gopher's Battle Against Tumors

This is my little guy Gopher. He currently is 10 1/2 years old. We share the same birthdate, December 10.

I love him so much. He’s been an incredible friend and companion since we met about 10 1/2 years ago when he was a baby you could cup in your hands.

Recently, through X-rays and a biopsy, it has been discovered that Gopher is very sick. He has at least two tumors on or around his lung, and they are cancerous. Surgery is required very soon or they will metastasize and spread throughout his body, which will be fatal for him in a very short time.

On Friday, June 20, I will be in a pre-surgery meeting to go over the game plan going forward.

With the testing he has had to go through to discover what is ailing him and the projected surgery, the total costs are going to be approximately $10,000. So far, they believe he can be operated on, and Friday, after examining him one last time, this will be confirmed. If it is determined the tumors cannot be removed, then we will not conduct the surgery and we will just do the best we can to ensure his comfort until that is not possible. I DO AND WILL NOT TRY TO KEEP HIM ALIVE IF HE WILL BE IN SIGNIFICANT PAIN OR DISCOMFORT!

Please consider helping Gopher and myself. I don’t like asking for help. Usually, in my life, I’ve been a helper, a fixer, a problem solver. This time we need help.
