Support Goose Geuder's Healing Journey
Donation protected
Most of you know and are familiar with the living teddy bear, Goose Geuder.
Goose was rushed into emergency surgery last week, and we learned he had developed a septic abdomen due to an abscess caused by a large mass on his liver. During surgery, the doctors also found multiple tumors on both his liver and adrenal gland.
Because of the size, location, and number of the tumors, they weren’t able to remove them. Instead, they focused on saving his life — draining the abscess, cleaning the infection, and stabilizing him. Thanks to their extraordinary efforts — and Goose’s incredible strength — he made it through surgery and is now beginning his healing journey.
But Goose is still very sick. He remains at high risk and is now on a full comfort and palliative care plan to manage his pain, help his liver function, and give him the happiest, most love-filled days ahead. We are holding on to hope that we can have more time with him — and are determined to make every moment count.
Many of you have reached out asking how you can help. Jeff and Naz have received so much love, prayers, and even gifts and flowers, and they are beyond grateful. Truly, the kindness surrounding Goose has helped carry them through the hardest days.
If you are still wondering how you can make the most impact, we humbly ask that you consider donating to Goose’s medical care fund.
Jeff and Naz are not asking for financial assistance but, instead of buying him toys or sending flowers, contributing to his care would help them directly support his quality of life — giving him every chance to stay happy, comfortable, and deeply loved for as long as possible.
Where Donations Will Go:
• Hospitalization and surgical costs
• Pain management and infection control
• Specialist consultations and imaging
• Comfort therapies and home care, possible end-of-life care
• Emergency funds if his condition changes quickly
Jeff, Naz, and Goose can’t thank you enough for the love, prayers, and support you have already shown.
Please keep the good thoughts coming — we know Goose feels every ounce of it. They are taking things one day at a time, cherishing every snuggle, every wag, every sleepy bear hug they are lucky enough to share with him.
