Hi, my name is Laura, daughter of Gonzalo Abrego. I type this with very much pain, sadly, due to the passing of my father. My dad was known as a happy person, very uplifting, joyful, and full of life, as you can see in the pictures. If you knew him personally, you knew he was a good-hearted man.

My father got diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2021. Sadly, when we found out about his cancer, he was at stage 4. According to the clinic policy, they couldn't tell us he had cancer; we found out by going to the hospital. He fought every day for 5 years and always stayed positive that one day he would be cured.

Sadly, my father passed away on February 5th, 2025, at 5 in the morning. My father lived the rest of his life happily by the side of his nieces and nephews, his 3 daughters, two boys, and his beloved wife.

We thought we would have way more time to rearrange things for his funeral, and sadly, we only have 48 hours before we have to make a decision on how we would want him to enter the gates of heaven. He wanted to get buried with a nice, simple funeral, so any donations are appreciated. It doesn't have to be much; any dollar is very much appreciated. Thank you and God bless you.
