With heavy hearts, we share the sudden and tragic loss of our beloved nephew, Gony Dual Bijiek, who was found in the Missouri River on Sunday, June 23, 2025. Gony was only 28 years old. Gony was a kind, loving, and outgoing soul. He brought light into every room with his warm spirit and genuine heart. He had dreams, goals, and so much life ahead of him. This unexpected loss has devastated our family and community.

We are asking for your support during this incredibly painful time. Funds raised will go toward funeral and memorial expenses, as well as to help his immediate family navigate this tragedy and honor Gony’s life the way he deserves.
