Gollum Girl LIVE is going on tour!
A true tale of growing up weird in the age of juggernaut film trilogies and what happens if you make a freaky little guy the cornerstone of your personality, Gollum Girl LIVE is a comedic and confessional solo show exploring writer/performer A Yourd's lifelong passion for The Lord of the Rings, specifically their preteen obsession with the character Gollum.
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Gollum Girl LIVE started in 2021 with a short piece of Zoom Theatre as part of Undiscovered Countries @ Home. The piece caused a virtual riot in the chat, leaving Yourd to wonder if the piece had a future on a real stage. In 2023, Blackout Theatre Company asked Yourd to develop a piece for the inaugural Monologists solo performance series, and Gollum Girl LIVE began to take shape. After some delays (because this show could only come to life at a Tolkienian pace), the world was finally introduced to Gollum Girl at Blackout's second Monologists event in early 2026.
And now, this summer, four cities across the US will be subjected to Gollum Girl's tale of middle school lunchrooms and early aughts fanfic sites.

- Omaha, NE (Omaha Fringe, August 6-9)
- Indianapolis, IN (Indy Fringe, August 13-23)
How is this happening? In June and August, A Yourd will be hitting the road in their trusty Subaru Outback for a solo road trip to Colorado, Nebraska, and Indiana.
Yourd is seeking $5000 to help fund the trip and bring this exceptionally silly show to audiences across the Southwest and Midwest.
