Hi, my name is Golda and I am currently looking for my fur-ever home. I was rescued last May by Best Friend Dog and Animal Adoption, Inc when my owners lost their home and have been living with my foster mom, Mary Anne since then. I'm a good girl and I like playing with Baby the cat. I've been a guest on NJ News 12 Paw and Pals https://newjersey.news12.com/paws-pals-6-year-old-golda-now-up-for-adoption-with-best-friend and am listed on Petfinder.com https://www.petfinder.com/dog/golda-72770140/nj/cranford/best-friend-dog-and-animal-adoption-inc-nj70/ .
Last week I was feeling bored and I found my foster mom's pillbox which contained some aleve tablets. I thought they were treats and I ate them (I really like treats), but these were not good for me. My foster mom had to take me to the hospital where I had to be treated for injesting these pills and I ran up about $3,000 of hospital bills. We are asking the public to help us raise enough funds to help us cover this unexpected expense incurred by Best Friend Dog and Animal Adoption, Inc.
They do such great work, I was hoping you might be able to assist them in covering the costs for my bills. I know it is a lot of money and Best Friend Dog and Animal Adoption, Inc needs it to continue to rescue homeless dogs and cats like me.
If you would please consider contributing to them I'd really appreciate it -- they've saved my life twice now and I want to help them to continue to do so for other homeless pets like me.
Thank you so very much.
Golda
