Support Goji’s Life-Saving Surgery Costs

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your help.

Today, our beloved pitbull Goji, had to undergo emergency open abdominal surgery after swallowing a toy. The estimated vet bill is $3,153, which is far more than her mama Greta can afford on her own. When asked the unthinkable, whether she wanted to let Goji go, Greta couldn’t imagine life without her. Goji isn’t just a pet. She’s family. She’s our girl.

If you’ve ever met Goji, you know she makes her presence known in the best way with a big, happy “roooooo!” that she uses to greet everyone like an old friend. She’s 85 pounds of pure love, a self-proclaimed lap dog, and affectionately referred to by Greta as the “Giga Baby.”

She loves being outside more than anything, especially when the sun is shining. But try telling her it’s time to go back inside? She’ll dig in her front paws and throw the funniest little tantrum. She LOVES food (and honestly, anything that remotely resembles food), accepts all treats with joy and spit bubbles, and perhaps most importantly takes her role as Lizard Patrol very seriously.

This emergency was sudden and scary, and now Greta is left trying to cover the cost of saving her best friend’s life. We’re asking for support from anyone who’s ever loved a dog like family.
