Hello, my name is Scott Boehmke and I am fundraising for GODS to GHOSTS Volleyball. I fell in love with this sport as a 15 year old kid in the summer of '88 learning how to play on my neighbor's backyard grass court here in Brookfield, WI. That summer I witnessed the AVP - Milwaukee Bradford Beach Open for the first time, and tuned in to the men's and women's indoor teams competing in the Seoul Olympics. From that point on, I have been obsessed with sport. Not just playing, but even more so now commemorating and preserving the rich history of volleyball and the players and figures that built, played, coached, contributed, and left their indelible mark on the sport. Be it battling one another for hours on end indoors in a hot gym, or on the beach in the sun, deep sand, with no money to be had, yet competed for pride, bragging rights, and the sheer LOVE of the game...

It’s GODS TO GHOST’S mission to provide a medium in which the historical volleyball players and contributors over the decades from the 50's on, can be acknowledged and remembered for their transcendent talent, colorful personalities, and countless contributions to the game, so as to never be forgotten when they are gone, and for generations to come to know and enjoy.

All donations go towards covering the monthly costs of the Adobe Cloud software to create videos & podcasts, the hosting platforms required for the website, and podcast, as well as the outside webmaster to maintain / manage it all.

In closing, it is our goal to ensure the history of the sport is captured eternally. Your donations will help to ensure we accomplish just that!
