Hi, my name is Benjamin Thompson, and I serve as President of Sigma Iota Delta at Lipscomb University.
I am raising funds to help cover the upfront costs of hosting our annual philanthropy event, Goatfest — a concert-style fundraiser organized by our club each year in honor of our late brother, Jared Eubanks, who passed away from cystic fibrosis eleven years ago.
Goatfest holds deep meaning for our members. What began as a tribute to Jared has become a longstanding tradition and commitment to support the fight against cystic fibrosis.
The funds raised through this campaign will help offset essential event expenses such as stage setup, production, and materials. Covering these costs allows our organization to host a high-quality event and maximize the amount we are able to donate from Goatfest proceeds to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Over the past three years, our club has donated more than $15,000 through this event, and this year we are determined to make an even greater impact.
Thank you for supporting this student-led initiative and helping us continue a tradition that means so much to our community.
Roll SID!
