Prayer is the strongest request right now. However, if anyone feels lead to bless Mikal and Rachael tangibly, as they have had to pause their franchised business (no income), since finding out the news of Baby Glory's heart condition at 28 weeks gestation. They still have their monthly bills to pay and their other children to care for. I ask that you prayerfully consider supporting The Jelley family as they walk through this challenging journey. Thank you in advance. ❤️- Jenny
Baby Glory's story from my sister Rachael:
"Georgiana Glory
Born at 11:19am on 3-13-25
20.5"
7lbs 12 oz
I realized that I didn’t ever post a pregnancy announcement, I just didn’t take many pictures because well, life is busy. We found out at 28 weeks that she has a rare congenital heart problem. There isn’t just one thing wrong with her heart but a list of 9 things. I had to have a c section because labor would be too hard on her heart. We’ve been believing for a miracle this whole time. She was born and cried right away, hallelujah! We were told that she may not even survive birth or need immediate life saving procedures. It wasn’t so, she was on “watch and wait” for several days to assess all of the complexities of her hearts anatomy before needing open chest surgery.
We’ve been speaking life and the name of Jesus over her! Binding heart disease and heart failure and speaking the report of the Lord over her. Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
We’ve known that this battle is not ours, but the Lords. Just like in 2 Chronicles 20.
It’s not our job to know why or how or what, but only to believe. Mark 5:36 Jesus said “Do not be afraid; only believe”
We believe God and in the same breath, this has been the hardest fight of our lives. We are full of faith and at the same time, this hurts.
She's been in the CICU since she was born, 8 weeks. I’ve been driving to an hour + one way to see her almost daily. Mikal has put the business on hold to put girls first. She’s two months old today
She’s needed medicine as well as two surgeries and overcome so much in her little body already. We’ve been so at peace and at rest throughout it all. Exodus 33:14 “And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” That’s the faithfulness of our God. I imagine Jesus in the boat during the storm, completely at peace because He is the Prince of peace. She was always very active in my belly during prayer and worship. She loves the Lord. She’s strong in the Lord. She loves to eat (it’s genetic). She’s so sweet and loves to be held. We are in the unseen part of faith. Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
2 things we know for sure:
God is the same yesterday, today and forever.
God has already healed her. We just don’t know where we will see the complete manifestation of healing yet, here or in heaven." - Rachael
