Support Gloria's Life-Saving Cancer Treatment

Dear Friends, Family & Supporters,

I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for help for our dear cousin, mom, fiancé, daughter, sister, and friend Gloria.

Gloria has a fiancé Leo, and a 5 year old daughter, Isabella, who is the light of her life and she refuses to leave her behind without a mother.

Gloria graduated from the University of Connecticut with a masters degree and has enjoyed working as a Social Worker for the Hospital of Central Connecticut (HOCC), since completing her internship in 2006. She is extremely grateful for the outpouring support of her co-workers.

In December 2023, at the age of 42, Gloria was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. Unfortunately, with the aggression of this stage 4 diagnosis, Chemotherapy and Radiation have not been offered to her during this stage of her prognosis. In her most recent scan, the tumors have increased in size. The doctors have only presented her with the option of a cocktail of oral medications & injections, which she has been taking since diagnosis 8 months ago. They say this treatment could potentially give her another 5 years to live at best. This is not enough time for her, for Isabella, Leo and for all of us who love her. Gloria will continue the medication treatments to try to contain the growth, but we have found another option that brings great hope beyond what the current standard of care can offer.

We were recently informed that Gloria has been accepted into The Williams Cancer Institute, founded by Dr. Jason Williams, who is a pioneer in immunology. This center offers cutting edge intratumoral immunotherapy combined with cryoablation and has a very high cure rate. These treatments are administered by American doctors at The Williams Cancer Institute, in Los Cabos Mexico, due to the disapproval of this medication in the US. Gloria met with Dr. Williams and he is very optimistic about her case. The expected cost will be just under $170,000 and is not covered by insurance. We need a huge amount of monetary support from all of you to help send her there and time is of the essence. Your generous contributions will not only provide Gloria with a chance at life but also give Leo & Isabella the gift of having her mom around to raise her.
