On September 12th, a horrific tragedy struck our community. Gloria Berry, a beloved community leader, mother, and grandmother, experienced the unthinkable — her grandson witnessed his father being brutally taken from this world while simply being picked up from school.

No child should ever have to endure such trauma. This young boy has not only lost his father but also his sense of safety and peace. His beautiful spirit and smile deserve healing, love, and support from all of us.

As a family and community, we are rallying together to make sure Gloria’s grandson receives the care he needs. These funds will help provide:

• Therapy and counseling to process the unimaginable pain he has experienced.

• Stability and security during this incredibly difficult time.

• Basic needs and ongoing support as the family begins to rebuild their lives.

Gloria has given so much to our community, always showing up for others. Now it’s our turn to show up for her and her family.
