Support Gloria’s Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer
Donation protected
Our very dear friend Gloria was recently diagnosed with a rare pancreatic cancer that is currently inoperable. She is seeking medical opinions from various facilities across the country, including both traditional and nontraditional treatments. The current recommendation by two different GI surgeons is to do chemo for at least six months, in an attempt to shrink the tumor to an operable size and location (away from the artery/vein it has grown into). She was told that only 1/3 of patients in this situation make it to surgery, but she is young (40’s) and in otherwise good health, so that is on her side. We also believe in a God who performs miracles! And Gloria needs a miracle my friends!
We are asking for financial help for Gloria and her family since she is unable to bring in an income. She has pain and now her restricted diet has left her weak, requiring more rest. Her family has already had to come up with thousands of dollars for CT and PET scans, biopsy, and many specialist visits and this is just the beginning of the journey. She has an upcoming pain block procedure, diagnostic laparoscopy, and more expensive medical procedures and time off work. If you are able to give, I know her family will be incredibly grateful and will be very responsible with anything given to them. Whether you can give or not, please, please pray for Gloria’s healing and pray for her husband and son as they walk this difficult journey.
Her family has already experienced extreme devastation and loss when their son, Grayson, was diagnosed with an incurable pediatric brain tumor in 2019 at the age of 14 and his treatments were only able to extend his life to age 16, before he received his complete healing in Heaven in 2021. Grayson had such strength and courage and his faith left a lasting impact on many. He also left behind his younger brother and best friend, Christian, who has now passed him up in age, graduated high school last week, and will be going to community college this fall. He’s been through so much in his young life.
It seems so unfair that this family must walk another difficult cancer journey. Gloria has been working two part-time jobs—one doing bookkeeping/payroll for a small business, which helped the family survive on a tight budget and allowed her to have time to work in the volunteer position as President of The Grayson Foundation, established in memory of their son. The foundation provides annual scholarships to local high school students and provides monthly financial support to local families who have a child in cancer treatment.
They’ve helped so many people, now let’s help them. Please. If you’ve never given- now is the time. If you’re not familiar with how Go Fund Me works- contact us (Brian or Carrie) and we will help. The Moser family wishes to thank everyone for your love, support, and prayers.
