Gloria Lucas is a powerful force in pushing eating disorder (ED) treatment providers and institutions to do better with her organization, Nalgona Positivity Pride . She is a fierce advocate and organizer within Xicana and eating disorder communities. Many know Gloria because of her stellar Instagram account  where she shares everything from ED treatment memes and chonky cats to information about missing and stolen Indigenous women. 

Circumstances have changed for Gloria, and she is in need of our support to secure housing for herself. For anyone who has had or loved someone with an eating disorder, you know how difficult it can be to reach out for support. Please consider sharing, specifically asking others to donate, and/or donating yourself. No amount is too insignificant....as long as GFM can process it!

Gloria is in need of $5,000 by June 1, 2021 to be able to maintain her housing stability. Being able to show her that our community cares through financial support is incredibly meaningful to her and to all of us that benefit regularly from their education and advocacy. 

Being able to have secure housing while Gloria continues her work in a world that actively seeks erase her and her communities is a tangible way to action and make a difference in real time.
