Support Glib's Battle Against Brain Cancer

Just a few months after our son was born, Glib started experiencing forgetfulness and sleepiness, as well as confusion. He connected it to a lack of sleep because of our newborn, but the reality was much worse - Glib was diagnosed with glioblastoma - a brain cancer that’s usually diagnosed on its last stage as it runs asymptomatic. A rapid decline in memory didn’t allow Glib to continue daily activities and he needed me with him day and night especially during treatments. We planned on going back to our home country Ukraine, but the war started a few months prior preventing us from going home to receive much needed support from our families and we were left one on one with Glib’s disease.

Recently Glib’s condition got worse due to tumor growth and his ability to walk is impaired. Glib needs constant supervision and we need to hire an aid to help with his daily activities. Glib also needs another round of radiation, and we need help in getting him in and out of his appointments as it’s just us here and our family and friends live either overseas or in different states. Anyone who had to deal with cancer or other serious disease can understand, how difficult it is mentally, physically and financially for the entire family, so we’re humbly asking for your help. All the money will be spent towards Glib’s expenses for medical bills, hiring aid, transportation, possibly rent and other daily expenses. It is extremely difficult for us to ask for help , but we still believe in a miracle of Glib’s healing and we appreciate everything you can do - we believe that even a simple prayer goes a long way.
