Glen was diagnosed with cancer in 2023, and our lives changed overnight. When chemotherapy stopped working, he bravely began an experimental trial, hoping for a breakthrough. Unfortunately, the treatment was so aggressive that it caused a tear in his bowel, leading to sepsis. Glen was rushed by ambulance to MD Anderson in Houston, where he spent two days in the ICU and another fourteen days in a hospital room, connected to tubes and IVs. Now, he’s home with an ostomy bag, and his future treatment is uncertain. The journey has been overwhelming, both emotionally and financially, as we navigate the challenges of his illness and recovery.

Throughout all of this, Glen’s spirit has remained strong. There’s never been a time when I was out and about with Glen that someone didn’t approach us and immediately gravitate toward him. Whether it’s a former employee or business associate, he’s always greeted with hugs, handshakes, and warm words. Glen is known and loved by so many, and I marvel at the impact he’s had on others. His honesty and fairness are unmatched, and his family adores him. Now, he needs your help more than ever. The uncertainty of the future, the inability to work full-time, and the constant doctor’s appointments are weighing heavily on him. I just want him to have peace—he deserves peace and hope.
